I've updated the events system. At the left side, you will now see a countdown, which indicates when the next training is. Keep in mind it is in GMT+1, so it may be different for everyone. Also, the link to month overview, has been changed. You can look that page by going here, or click the "Events" link above the cars.
Today 20:00 GMT+1, the first training of 2010 will be, make sure to come everyone! If you can't come, let me know as soon as possile.

Hi fellow drifters,
Last training was a great succes! Almost everyone showed up, and Muyiwa hosted a great little competition for us. I've made some cool pictures of the event. Enjoy watching. I hope everyone has a nice X-mas and a proper 2010. See you in the 2010's training!

Some good news now. Nathan246 is back in the team. He is very happy, and so are the other team members. We hope you enjoy your stay, and drift alot together.
And some extra news, I hope to finish the new website design today, and new updated and refreshed pages today. You will see when I change it. Merry x-mas. |

 What a year eh? Since ths lil' drifting team was started by the awesomley spectacular Bose, we have grown spectacularly into an active bustling drift community. For this, we say thanks!
There is a huge suprise for us withing the next week or so. Bose has been getting on with some cool new design work (nerd) and he's created a sexy lookin' website that'll, hopefully, attract more people and make use look snazzy and modern. You can see a preview here. It boasts a new colour scheme and some cool Christmas related images.
Next up, I am planning something aswell. I might not be a smart with computers as Bose but I am good at handling events which is why I am organizing a huge event for everyone, not just iDrift members, to participate in. It will start of as a drift praticse with every participant assesed in a 15 minute section. Ones who impress, go through and those not good enough go out. The final is a live 3 lap drift from each participant - again, the best drifter who has exceptional speed and angle for all corners, wins. This is still a work in progress so no official schedule has been released.
To the members of iDrift. Please, please, make sure you start comming to training sessions. It helps us as a team, not just with drifting, but to get along and get to know each other which is essential for any team to prosper. Most of you have been doing okay but just make sure you visit every week. If you can't make time, contact Bose at least a day before so he knows that you respect him and the team enought to let him know, don't just dissapear.
Remember, the official training time is 20:00 GMT+1 on Saturday.
Finally, I want to wish you all an awesomley spectular Christmas and a truly happy New Year. We hope you get what you want and we hope you enjoy your days thoroughly. As a lil' present from us, training is cancelled on the 26th of December. Enjoy your Boxing Day with your loved ones, not a game. Training resumes on the 2nd so make sure you don't miss it. It the first of the decade! |
